Infrastructure Australia -Connecting the Dots Conference
Meticulous execution of this prestigious and culturally important event series for key government and community stakeholders.
The brief was to design and execute the second event in the Infrastructure Australia Conference Series – Connecting the Dots – Shaping the Future of Infrastructure in Remote Indigenous Communities. EP Agency was engaged to manage an interactive and engaging three day conference program, hosting delegates from around Australia including community, government and other national stakeholders and speakers from around the world. The aim was to host the event in a regional location that was relevant to the content and was accessible by flight for all delegates to attend easily.
EP Agency produced and delivered three extremely successful conference days in Alice Springs and other regional locations around Australia. The events were designed to bring together policy and planning leaders from the Australian indigenous community, business and the Federal Government. As well as the conference element, EP Agency also arranged for culturally relevant and appropriate entertainment to balance the series, including indigenous dance performances by local children.
The key learnings and outcomes were significant enough to motivate the Department to engage EP Agency for an additional six conferences. This time, the brief was to deliver the events in capital cities around the country. The original objective remained which was to continue to develop and improve the future of infrastructure in remote indigenous communities throughout Australia.
