A-League Dolan Warren Awards

A DISTINGUISHED AWARD CEREMONY CELEBRATING THE A-LEAGUE SEASON FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN. THE NIGHT BROUGHT TOGETHER THE AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL FAMILY RECOGNISING ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE PLAYERS AND REWARDING THOSE WHO MADE IT SUCH A SUCCESS.

EP Agency was briefed to design and deliver an annual awards ceremony that reflected the A-League community and brand. The objective of the event was to deliver formalities that encompassed players, VIP’s, fans, media and corporate partners alike through the celebration of the all A-League stakeholders. In a first for the event, a special group of fans were able to attend the awards and view the night from inside the Ballroom and meet the A-League Men’s Grand Final team players.

Over 400 guests converged in Sydney’s The Star Event Centre. They were met on arrival by media on the black carpet to kick off what was a highlight event on the A-Leagues end of season event calendar. Guests were treated with canapes and drinks on arrival flanked with gold media walls (or those opportune photo moments. They were entertained with soulful DJ tunes before being ushered into the ballroom to be seated for the commencement of the official ceremony.

The ceremony was hosted by Tara Rushton, Niav Owens and Tristan McManus who kept the guests engaged and entertained throughout.

The night of nights in Australian Football showcased highlights packages of finalists and nominees with winners being acknowledged and presented with trophies on stage, culminating in the presentation of the Julie Dolan and Johnny Warren Medals.

After guests indulged in a three-course meal served on golden plates, the on-stage screen lifted and revealed the band, Bermuda Social who lit up the dancefloor so guests could dance the night away.
