Australian Reinsurance Risk Corporation – Global Terrorism Risk Conference
World-class delivery of a 2-day global conference addressing current global terrorism risks in Government and the private sector hosted in Parliament House, Canberra.
EP Agency was briefed by the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) to deliver a Global Terrorism Risk Conference at Parliament House. The brief included the delivery of delegate registration management and of the conference materials as well as venue and catering management at the historic Parliament House. In addition to the conference, EP Agency was also briefed to deliver an important networking event for the delegates attending from many different countries at the end of the conference.
Guests were able to register and follow the event schedule through a purpose-built App to allow seamless delivery of information and materials. EP Agency planned and managed all the technology and materials for the two-day conference, including the App and the physical presentation delivery in the Theatre of Parliament House. The conference opened with a stirring and informative Welcome to Country conducted by an Aboriginal Elder. The program continued with keynote presentations and Q&A sessions including a presentation by the Honourable Kelly O’Dwyer MP, which was lauded as an extremely engaging highlight of the event.
Delegates were able to engage meaningfully with speakers with a roaming AV production team with handheld microphones, which enhanced the interactivity with the speakers’ sessions.
Each day, delegates enjoyed a delicious morning and afternoon tea as well as lunch. On the final day, delegates were escorted from the Theatre to the Parliament House Mural Hall where they were treated to a beautiful dinner and cocktail reception. The conference and the accessibility to materials afterwards via the app were a huge success for the department and event team alike.
