FreeyourFit FitBit Consumer Event
Luna Park’s Crystal Ballroom is transformed into a 1980’s aerobics dance class, as part of the #freeyourfit Fitbit consumer brand activation event.
To launch the new Fitbit Versa Lite, EP Agency was briefed to design and produce a unique, youthful and fun experience for Sydney-based consumers. It was important that the event reflected Fitbit’s position as a leader in the health and fitness wearable technology category, and showcased the enhanced fitness data capabilities of the new smartwatch. Above all else, the experience needed to be highly engaging, and create shareable moments by everyone that attended.
EP Agency created an authentic 1980’s workout experience for over 150 attendees at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park.
Designed to encourage participants to move confidently and freely with Fitbit, Retrosweat led an aerobics class, with DJ Feline playing 1980’s hits and host and Fitbit trainer Brittney Coutts leading a Fitbit inspired warm up and cool down. The workout was further amplified via user-generated content.
Before the class, guests enjoyed a retro salon experience where hair and make-up artists were armed with crimping irons and bold makeup colours. Bright Fitbit branded tank tops and sweatbands were provided to complete the authentic 1980’s look. After the class, revellers enjoyed a post-workout brunch bar, with branded coconuts and healthy treats before a group photo created memories for all who participated. 100% of proceeds were donated to Diabetes NSW and ACT.
