Land Rover Polo Club for Polo in the City - English Polo Garden
A beautifully curated English country garden setting for guests to enjoy the Polo action in comfort and style.
To design and activate a themed setting for valued clients, guests and staff of Land Rover Australia at the Waterford Crystal Polo in the City in Sydney and Melbourne. The area had to be centred around the Land Rover theme and offer guests a luxurious and relaxing place to enjoy the day.
EP Agency custom-designed a timber painted gazebo with an English Polo Garden setting. Fresh pink roses entwined along lengths of climbing ivy suspended from white lattice walling that continued the length of the gazebo sides. Verdant hedge walling created a bold backdrop with a laser-cut circular wooden #LandRoverPolo sign. It was furnished with crisp white wooden settings, rattan butlers’ trays in neutral tones and aged cane lounge suites.
Subtle branding was incorporated throughout the space with fabric cushions in white and navy. A layer of smooth synthetic turf provided soft but stable flooring for guests, suitable for all weather conditions.
The perimeter of the enclosure was hedged fencing panels and finished with a bespoke European inspired entrance gate with branded sandstone plinths. A vehicle display was lined with playful hobby horses, polo mallets and custom-branded life size chess pieces for props at the popular media wall.
Guests were treated to a sumptuous grazing table abundant with decadent cheeses, charcuterie meats, fresh vegetables and dips. Guests enjoyed Pimms cocktails from vintage Waterford Crystal goblets along with Pol Roger Champagne.
