Land Rover Polo Club for Polo in the City - Hamptons Polo Club
Bringing a touch of the Hamptons to Australia at an iconic polo tournament in five states.
To design and manage Land Rover’s Polo Marquee, the Land Rover Polo Club, at the Land Rover Polo in the City Series. EP Agency was briefed to create a chic Hamptons inspired hospitality retreat for their valued customers, celebrities and media personalities at the headlining Sydney and Melbourne events. The smaller states of Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide required a similar concept to be brought to life, ensuring a consistent and seamless activation of the Land Rover brand as the naming rights sponsor.
Stepping away from a typical marquee design, EP Agency designed a structure that featured nautical exposed beam awnings, maritime lighting fixtures and an inbuilt banquette seat, all in nautical navy and white. It was declared ‘the best’ marquee on the field, all guests at the event knew they were in Land Rover territory.
Land Rover’s on-field presence extended to Polo specific branding such as kickboard covers and bunting. A custom laser-cutout of the outline of the newest model Evoque was covered with lush green hedge with exclusive hashtags to amplify Land Rover’s social media at the events.
The media wall was a defining element of the activation, and brought together a nautical and Polo experience.
Bespoke menus were created, and served with Aperol Spritz cocktails served in branded goblets with navy and white straws.
Meanwhile, the real feature of the day was the delightful miniature ponies, fondly named “Rangie” and “Rover”, complete with Land Rover branded saddle blankets and head collars.
