Mirvac Christmas Party - Ahoy

Vibrant, unique and highly engaging end of year celebration, to treat their hardworking staff

EP Agency was briefed to create a memorable Christmas celebration for Mirvac staff and contractors with a theme that would raise the bar from previous years and delight guests at a fabulous Sydney venue. The main aim is to reward their hardworking staff for their dedication throughout the year.

EP Agency created an “Ahoy!” theme that took guests on a journey from the moment they received the Save The Date.

Guests in fancy dress costumes were transported from the Mirvac office on vintage wooden ferries to the iconic Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf. 

The location was transformed into a nautical delight where guests were greeted by a sailor playing an accordion, setting the mood of an old wharf setting while oversized inflatable life buoys dotted the wharf’s terrace.


Mirrored coffee tables and grey velour armchairs created a lounge area and a mermaid in a blue sequinned dress posed for guests and offered nautical tattoos. Food stations throughout the event ensured guests were well fed from the terrace BBQ to the seafood paella and taco station. They sipped drinks under a canopy of festoon lights and flags while a lobster shack offered bench tapas tables for guests to relax and recharge. Guests danced the night away to the live Martini Club performance and enjoyed the photobooth and hashtag printer throughout the night.
