Moët et Chandon Tribute to Roger Federer Event
The Chairman’s Villa at Melbourne’s Crown Towers hosts a high-end tasting experience to celebrate Moët & Chandon brand ambassador Roger Federer’s unsurpassed sporting career.
Moët & Chandon approached EP Agency to design and deliver a luxurious and high end event for select guests to showcase the decadent champagne variants from the Moët Grand Vintage range. The brief was also to pay tribute to Moët & Chandon brand ambassador, Roger Federer, and his stellar tennis career. Guests experienced a sensorial journey as they enjoyed an evening of celebration and discovery.
Hosted in the exclusive Chairman’s Villa at Crown Towers, Melbourne, guests were treated to a Moët Grand Vintage experience from start to finish. The villa was decorated with fragrant flowers and doormen in elegant suits greeted guests with a glass from the Grand Vintage range. Each room was transformed into a Tasting Room featuring a different vintage and paired canapes, designed by No. 8 restaurant head chef, John Lawson.
The Moët Grand Vintage 2006 Tasting Room featured a custom-designed photography backdrop by Harold David Combs and a hand-blown glass and vintage bottle sculpture, creating the perfect photo opportunity for guests to share on social media.
Tennis superstar Roger Federer appeared in the Moët Grand Vintage 2004 Tasting Room where he gave an intimate Q&A on his life, his relationship with Moët and his incredible career. Custom-made screens in the grand hallway displayed portraits of Federer’s career highlights.
Finally, guests were presented a key to a vault that held their own personalised bottle of Moët Grand Vintage 2006 to be taken home as a memento of the occasion.
